Red Crow Community College is a First Nations college with campuses in
Standoff and Lethbridge. Our mission is to meet the cultural, educational,
and training needs for Kainaiwa and beyond. The college provides
leadership through its programs and service to nurture self-realization
based on Kainaissinni.

We are currently seeking a Liberal Education Program Leader to work as
part of the academic team. This role manages the Indigenous Bachelor of
Social Work (IBSW), Indigenous Language & Culture diploma (ILCD), and
the Indigenous Mental Health diploma (IMHD) by providing supervision
and working collaboratively with instructors, other program leaders,
students, Elders, support staff, and regulatory bodies.

The Leader guides the success of the program and ensures program
deliverables are met. In addition to being personable, helpful, and able to
work effectively in a team environment, the Leader must be reliable,
trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality in all areas. The Leader
should be familiar working within a post-secondary environment,
communicate clearly in speech and writing, have experience with grant
applications and report writing, and deliver services with respect and
understanding of Blackfoot culture by participating in activities that
promote Kainaissinni.

A Master’s degree in a discipline related to education, liberal arts, or
social sciences is required. A doctoral degree is preferred. Preference will
be given to candidates with a background or designation in social work.
A working knowledge of Blackfoot language and an understanding of
Blackfoot culture is required. Strong candidates will have demonstrated
senior level administrative achievements in teaching, curriculum
development, counselling, or administration.

The start date is immediate or when a suitable candidate is available. This
