The student learns basics in Livestock Production Systems, Basic Handling, Facilities and Equipment, Pasture/Grazing Management, Nutrition and Feeding and Health and Disease Management.

Admission Requirements

High School Diploma

With English 30-1, Social Studies 30-1, Aboriginal Studies 30 at a 65% average, also Grade 11 and mature students can be accepted once given approval

Age for acceptance

18 years and older who meet the criteria for funding. (Exceptions made for students 16-17 years old, who meet funding criteria.)

Proof of enrollment

Proof of enrollment and any available midterm marks. Final marks must be submitted within one month following the completion of the course(s).
