Contract Instructor

We are seeking a Contract Instructor to instruct Agriculture 114 (Beef Applied Nutrition and Feeding) in our Niitsitapi Livestock Program
Start Date: January 6, 2025
Rate of Pay: Competitive based on Qualifications

This course includes ruminant nutrition, nutrient digestion and knowledge of common feed types fed to the different classes of beef animals. Training in Blackfoot culture and content will be provided and must be infused into instruction.
Instructors require a degree in Animal Sciences or related discipline; a minimum of 2 years experience in an agricultural, livestock, farm management, or related position; and a minimum of 1 year teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Instructors are expected to be personable, well-informed on the topic area, and effective at communicating in both speaking and writing. Instructors work both independently and in collaboration with others.
Delivery will commence Winter 2025 and will be in-person at the new Standoff campus.
