Program name:  Niitsitapi Arts and Science

 

Program Overview: The courses are premised on western academic disciplines and focus on Indigenous frameworks which contribute to the construction of purpose and meaning to Indigenous contemporary realities. This integrative approach of western and indigenous epistemologies is the signature uniqueness of the Program.

 Red Crow Community College has a two-year course transferability to the University of Lethbridge, liberal arts.  And has 49 courses are Alberta Council on Admissions and Transfer (ACAT).

 Admission Requirements:

Graduate of High school or Equivalency

Prove of Proficiency of English 30-1 or Equivalency.

 

Academic Upgrading and High School Applicants: Applicants currently in high school or who are completing academic upgrading must submit proof of enrollment and any available interim/midterm marks. Final marks must be submitted within one month following the completion of the course(s) and no later than one month prior to the program start date.

One mandatory letter from an Eminent Scholar from the Blackfoot Speaking people (Siksiaitsitapi).
